Live Music Evenings on the Rooftop
Starting this month, the rooftop terrace at Hotel Bulevar takes on a second life after sunset — a weekly evening of live music, low light and unhurried conversation, four floors above the Bulevar it's named for.
By day, the rooftop is where guests read, swim and watch the mountains change colour over Mostar. On Friday evenings it becomes something else entirely. As the light drops behind the hills, the loungers are turned toward a small stage, the bar opens early, and a rotating line-up of regional musicians — duos, trios, the occasional solo guitarist — begins to play. Nothing is amplified past conversation level; the idea is a soundtrack, not a concert.
The format stays deliberately simple. Doors to the terrace open at seven, the first set begins around eight, and the bar runs a short list built for the season — a spritz, a negroni built with the estate's own grape brandy, and a rotating glass from the wine wall downstairs. Hotel guests have standing access; a limited number of terrace-only reservations are held for locals each week, in keeping with the hotel's instinct to stay porous to the city around it.
We didn't want a nightclub on the roof. We wanted the kind of evening where you lose track of what song is playing and just notice the view has changed.
The series runs through the season, with the line-up announced a week ahead on the hotel's own channels. Reservations for the rooftop bar are recommended but not required for hotel guests; walk-ups are welcome as space allows.
